Corrections Policy

We publish about money, so accuracy is not optional. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly rather than quietly.

Report an error

Email corrections@creditsin.in with the article URL, the specific claim in question, and a source if you have one. We acknowledge within 2 business days.

How we classify a fix

  • Correction — a factual error (a wrong rate, fee, date, name or figure). The article carries a dated correction note explaining what was wrong and what changed.
  • Clarification — the facts were right but the wording could mislead. A dated note explains the sharpened wording.
  • Update — the underlying facts changed after publication (for example a revised rate). The article's updated timestamp changes and the new information is added.

Timelines

Verified factual errors are corrected within 48 hours of confirmation. Errors that could affect a financial decision — rates, fees, eligibility — are prioritised and fixed the same working day wherever possible.

What we do not do

  • We do not delete an article to hide an error.
  • We do not remove accurate reporting because a company objects to it.
  • We do not edit a published article silently when a fact has changed.
